Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the Korean Rhinologic Society (KRS), I am pleased to announce that the 1st International Congress of the Korean Rhinologic Society (ICKRS) will be held in Seoul, on March 14-15, 2026. Thanks to our members’ passion for scholarship and their active collaboration, the KRS has continued to grow as a professional organization in the field of rhinology. We also have actively engaged in academic exchanges by signing MOUs with rhinologic societies in the United States, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Bulgaria, ASEAN, Australia and New Zealand. Now, with the upcoming annual congress of KRS being held as our first international congress, we are officially opening a venue for academic exchange with rhinology experts worldwide.

As a pre-congress workshop on March 12-13, 2026, we are preparing a comprehensive course on hypoglossal nerve stimulation - the most up-to-date treatment for obstructive sleep apnea that is gaining attention and being adopted in more Asian countries. There will be a cadaver dissection course using the latest Inspire V product, and we encourage your keen interest and active participation.

Our Society’s motto, based on our initials, is Knowledge, Respect, and Synergy. We hope that the 1st ICKRS will become a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange built on mutual respect and will spark new synergy for the advancement of rhinology worldwide. We look forward to welcoming you all to Seoul next March.
