Visa and Entry Requirements for International Attendees
All international attendees of ICKRS 2026 in Seoul must hold a valid passport and, if required, obtain an entry visa before arriving in South Korea. While some countries are eligible for visa-free entry, we strongly recommend that all participants check the visa requirements for their nationality in advance.
For more information, please visit the Korea Visa Portal via the button below or contact your local Korean Embassy.
K-ETA is an electronic travel authorization that visa-free foreign visitors need to obtain before entering the Republic of Korea, by submitting relevant information online such as their travel information.
Starting 1st September 2021, K-ETA is Mandatory for all foreigners entering Korea from visa waiver countries and visa-free countries.
All foreigners without either a K-ETA or a valid Visa will not be permitted to board a plane to Korea.
The K-ETA approval may take 72 hours or more, depending on the number of applications received and the circumstances of the applicant.
Therefore, make sure to complete the application for K-ETA 72 hours before boarding by aircraft.
